DGA conducts first Holy Communion, first Red letter Day, Tagpuan Pilgrimage

Last December 1, 2021, on the first week of Advent, DGA faculty and staff set up the school's Advent wreath, which was then blessed by chaplain Fr. Efren Araracap.
Last December 8, 2021, the DGA community celebrated the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. During the same day, DGA students received their first Holy Communion headed by the Christian Value Integration Office (CVIO). During the ceremony, parish catechists facilitated a series of seminars for students and parents. The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Efren “Sani” Araracap Jr., DGA chaplain and parish priest of the Nuestra Senora De Guia Parish in Magallanes, Cavite.
Last December 11 and 13, 2021, DGA conducted its first Red Letter Day, the card-giving ceremony which gave teachers and parents the opportunity to meet and discuss the progress of their students and children. The event started with the parents' formation facilitated by DGA principal Armando G. Gallardo. Afterwards, parents were given the chance to meet with the advisers and subject teachers of their children.
Last December 15, 2021, the DGA community participated in the lighting and blessing of by the Capiz lantern, which was officiated by Fr. Araracap.
Last December 18, 2021, DGA initiated a gift-giving ceremony for less fortunate families in Magallanes. The event, which was launched during the first Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC), encouraged parents to share whatever they could.
Last December 27, 2021, as part of the culminating celebration for 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines, DGA faculty and staff held its Tagpuan Pilgrimage, wherein they visited and prayed in seven churches designated as the Jubilee churches of the Diocese. These churches are Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Maragondon, Our Lady of Immaculate Conception in Naic, Sto. Rosario Parish in Rosario, St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Kawit, St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Bacoor, and Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Imus. At the end of the pilgrimage, attendees received pilgrim crosses as a sign of participation.
