DGA joins earthquake drill, welcomes image of Nuestro Padre Hesus Nazareno

Last November 8, 2021, DGA employees, students, and parents participated in a virtual earthquake drill via Microsoft Teams. The drill was conducted in coordination with the local government and the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (LDRRMO) of Magallanes, Cavite, under the supervision of Daphney Patawe, the municipality's LDRRMO head. Ms. Patawe also facilitated the formation and training, which aimed to help the attendees learn the do’s and don't s in the event of an earthquake.
Last November 9, 2021, the DGA community joined the Nuestra Señora De Guia Parish of Magallanes in welcoming the image of Nuestro Padre Hesus Nazareno to the town. DGA teachers and staff joined the "salubong" and motorcade, which were follow by the Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Douglas Badong, the National Spiritual Adviser of Hijos del Nazarenos.
Last November 15 and 25, 2021, SHS students from DGA participated in a career orientation, organized by the Office of the Guidance Advocate, headed by Marielle De Mesa. Attendees listened to the different programs and offerings of the participating colleges and universities. The program aimed to help students decide on the courses that they wanted to pursue and the universities that they wanted to attend.
Last November 24, DGA faculty and staff supported the Red Wednesday day of prayer for persecuted Christians by attending the celebration of the Holy Mass presided over by DGA chaplain Fr. Efren “Sani” Araracap. The celebration was also streamed live via the DGA Facebook page for students and parents to be able to participate as well. The Holy Mass was followed by a procession, after which the school grounds were lighted in red.
