Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary

De Guia Academy of Magallanes, Inc. celebrated the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary with the anticipated Holy Mass presided over by our school chaplain, Rev. Fr. Efren Sani Araracap, Jr. last December 7, 2023.

On Dec. 8, 1854, Pope Pius IX officially defined the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, Ineffabilis Deus—the doctrine stating that God preserved the Virgin Mary from the stain of original sin from the moment she was conceived.
